Terms and Conditions of Grocery Delivery
I have read the frequently asked questions ****HERE****.
Scheduling: Austin Grocer™ will contact you if there is a problem or scheduling conflict with the delivery times you suggested when you checked out. Its always best for you to provide as large of a delivery window as possible when you check out (example: 12-3pm or 7-8pm)
I agree to be at my location and available to accept my groceries within 1 hour (thirty minutes either way) of my scheduled delivery time. I understand that if the recipient of this grocery order is not available to accept delivery during this time I will be liable for a re-delivery fee. Should I be unable or unwilling to receive my order I understand that Austin Grocer may permanently refuse me service.
I understand that Austin Grocer will make every effort to deliver my list verbatim however there are some instances where this is not possible. I authorize Austin Grocer to call me for the purpose of determing the best course of action for out of stock products, etc.. If I am unavailable I understand that Austin Grocer will generally substitute products where available.
Groceries are non-refundable. You may receive a credit for any groceries that you refuse at the door if the goods were incorrect (as per your description on your grocery list) or damaged in transit. Once you sign for the delivery and the driver leaves your location there is no guarantee of refund. Please be aware that state health laws prohibits return of certain products to the store (such as fresh meat). We may give you a discount on your next order or small refund, but we generally can not return any groceries once you have accepted them into your home.
I understand that in the event of any dispute Austin Grocer™ shall in no circumstance be liable for any damages to exceed the cost of Austin Grocer delivery charges. Austin Grocer waives all responsibility to grocery products once you have accepted delivery of them.
I agree that Austin Grocer™ is not legally liable for any food spoilage or personal illness due to groceries delivered. (Food is delivered directly from a local market of your choosing, and the freshness of your product is guaranteed by the manufacturer or by the grocery store itself). I agree that Austin Grocer™ will in no way be held liable for any injury or death that may occur as a result of Austin Grocer's delivery services or the products Austin Grocer purchases on my behalf.
I have given my correct telephone numbers, including my cell phone number when possible, to help facilitate coordination of my delivery. I understand that it may be neccessary for a representative to contact me via telephone to complete my delivery.
